STORY
Newly out and gay in LA, Beanie suddenly finds herself suspiciously ‘invited’ to the hottest lesbian party in town. Expecting to meet her new queer friends and find community, the socially-anxious baby gay finds that being out may be harder than she had ever imagined.
Also, aliens just invaded earth.

From writer/director/editor robin feldman, celesbialiens is a celebration of queer culture. we have enough films about trauma, this film is about how wonderful it is to be queer. Because of our queer elders and the sacrifices so many of them made, we are able to now build a culture that isn’t underground, but everywhere. But with all that exposure comes a dark side: What kind of community do we want to belong to, when that community must exist within the strictures of capitalism? And if that sounds too precocious for a lesbian rom-com… just wait until you learn what the sexy aliens that begin invading earth really want from us.
It’s time to reclaim our stories.
